Chocolate Peanut Butter Energy Bites

These simple to make, seven ingredient energy bites make for a great mid-morning or mid-afternoon snack.

Refridgerate 20 minutes

  • 1 1/2 cups quick oats
  • Heaping 1/2 cup peanut butter
  • 1/4 cup ground flaxseed
  • 1/3 cup honey
  • 1/4 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1 Tbsp chia seeds
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract


  1. Add all ingredients to a large mixing bowl and stir until well combined.

  2. Press firmly into a small glass pan and refrigerate for at least 20 minutes before cutting into snack-sized pieces.

Recipe Notes

TIP: The consistency of your mixture may vary depending on the type of peanut butter you use (fresh ground or jarred). If you find your mixture is too sticky, add another sprinkle of oats. If your mixture seems a bit too dry, add another 1-2 tablespoons of peanut butter.
